Re: Soon we will have outlived Geggy Tah

Hi,
Thanks so much for the great response and help with finding the song-
I did get it from Matt electronically :-)

If only everyone in the world were so friendly as you all have
been...what a magical place it would b...will b?

I'll let ya all know how he likes this special gift after the
holidays. I appreciate taking the time, at this hectic time of year
to help me out... now I need to go through my photos to make a
collage of the years for him and I know I will find the Geggy Tah
pics and post them soon, just sorting through years of pic now.I
really am amazed how quickly I was able to get the song: thanks to
you all:-) now if the picture sorting went so magically smooth and
the collage just falls into place.

Thank u all... lots!
Nightlark

I also agree it would be great to hear some new Geggy Tah Music in
these present times. Does anyone know what is happening with them
and how they all are doing? I heard they are all doing other music
now, is that right? I have plenty of musician friends who would love
to sit in wit them- if they ever want to come back to Boston and
have a jam show, and I could record it, that would be cool.

FYI Here's the email I sent Matt after IU heard the song for the
first time in quite awhile:

Hi,
WoW- THANK U!!!

Yeah, well it is not how I remembered it when I heard it in Boston-
but I do like it :-) maybe it was changed and they collaborated
together and modified original song with the graveyard story? Boston
was the first time they played it live is what they said. So it was
new and it must of transformed after that show. (or maybe it is a
different song? But I think it is the song.)

It is a very creative song and I do love it!
The energy of the music is much the same as I remembered it to be.
If you want to try to cut the beginning that would be nice -
otherwise Kevin will understand- cuz he will remember when I came
from the show and told him about it.It must be the right song- as it
does really capture Kevin's energy when he was that age - WoW, it
was like pure kid free energy- really nice.
Lucky to say he still has managed to hold onto that energy/
spirit and in High School has found some
teachers that appreciate his spontaneity and exuberance. He also has
been running track and this channels his energy that way - thank
goodness. I bet he will play it before races.

I will find the pics and post them soon- going through pics now.
Thanks so much!
Nightlark
