I saw Pamelia and Greg Kurstin there a few years ago, and the sound then
seemed fine. The setup was kind of weird, because the band was up high
on a balcony at the back end of the room. The music was great, though!
I was totally blown away early in the show when I was looking around for
the string bass player, and realized that it was actually Pamelia's
theremin---she can modulate the volume so that it sounds exactly like a
plucked string. She's amazing. Anyway, I'm sorry to hear the place has
shut down, but many thanks to Bongo for posting a show report for those
of us that live too far away to experience the latest developments in
the land of the Tah!
