I thought you might like to know that The Hour's 'Season One'
archives have (finally) been updated. There are now over three-
hundred clips, including a particularly good interview with RFK, Jr.
from last Wednesday. If you haven't watched the show before, and
just want a quick introduction to what George has been doing, we
also put together a "web-only special" that you can get to from
anywhere on the site by launching the player. It's a fairly
comprehensive look at our first 96 episodes, including material that
isn't available elsewhere online. I hope that will tide everyone
over until our return for 'Season Two' on September 12.
If you have suggestions for the 'Season Two' website, I'm going to
start looking at proposals in two or three weeks. I can't promise
to build everything, but I'm told we'll be getting some additional
resources for online projects so we may be able to do something....
So let me know what you want to see by going to the "contact us"
page at cbc.ca/thehour and sending me a note.
In other news, strombo.com will launch on August 1st. George hasn't
told me a whole lot about what will be going on there, but -- from
what I saw -- it looks like it will provide an "insider's look" at
what's going on in his life and what he's interested in. You can
sign up for the mailing list and receive updates.
Cheers,
