Hi folks,
here is our trial of a (two!) short review, please excuse, if the lenguage isn'
t ok.
Last saturday we drove 700 kilometers to Lauchhammer (between Berlin and
Dresden) to see the show at "Friedensgedächtniskirche". It is a great place, an
old church, very funny! It was sold out with 350 people. Dan was an attraction
for people of age between 14 and 60!
The tourbus - with all the back-line - failed, the clutch broke, so the band was
in Lauchhammer, but the equipment still in Berlin. Fortunately the support-act,
Great Crusades from Chicago, helped.
The set started with

at this time I had to leave my sheet and go to the stage for having some party
:-))
They played a really hot 2-hours-show, if you don' t believe it, take a look at

We stayed at the same hotel and accidentally had breakfast with Mauro and
Mick.So we were already excited early in the morning! :-)))
We enjoyed the show that much that we need to go to Belgium yesterday to see
them once again. (It' s not that far away from our hometown)
It was a Monday evening, but ca. 150 people came out that night, so the club was
filled well.
They had a day off on sunday, so they seemed to be very relaxed.
Remarkable was a guitar / bass-change between Keith and Dan at "Hush".
Someone in the audience called for "keep your hands..." and Dan thanked him - he
said, he didn' t play that song for more than 20 years. :-))
At the merchandising desk this year not only "Out of mothballs" is available but
"Ken McMahan & stumpy boy" and Mauro Magellans project "The Crashers",
too.
If you get the chance to see one of their shows, take it!
We'll be happy to see them again next year.
