Estou participando mais uma vez de um concurso de remixes promovido
pelo ccMixter. Dessa vez a vítima é o Fort Minor, projeto paralelo do
Mike Shinoda (é, aquele cara do Linkin Park).

O interessante é que eu não gosto de nenhum dos dois projetos e nem
tenho grandes simpatias pelo Shinoda. A própria música não é isso
tudo: é um daqueles raps onde o cara fica dizendo que é o máximo o
tempo todo. De qualquer forma, tive uma idéia de remix logo quando
ouvi pela primeira vez. Como o prêmio é interessante - uma Technics
SL1200 Mk5, que sabe-se lá como eles mandariam para o Brasil - e o meu
único gasto foi de tempo, por quê não? O resultado está aqui:

There's a new remix contest going on at ccMixter, and I'm trying my
hand at it once again. This time the victim is Fort Minor, Mike
Shinoda's parallel project (yeah, the guy from Linkin Park).

The interesting part is that I don't like Fort Minor or Linkin Park -
and don't hold great simpathy for Shinoda either. The original track
itself is not that great: it's your regular "I'm fuckin' awesome, yo"
type of rap. Anyway, when I first heard the song I immediately had
ideas for a remix, so there you go. The prize is quite interesting - a
Technics SL1200 Mk5 turntable, which I really don't know how they're
gonna send to Brazil if I win - and the only thing I spent making the
remix was time. The final result is here:

I think it's better than the original, but I'm rather suspect. ;-)
