You may want to put your settings on special notices, because from
now on, there will be many posts. Ghetto Electro is expanding very
big, very fast!
Ghetto Electro/Cuervo Loco is still part of ge. PJ Corvus
(Theokrats) is helping me out & this is his branch in new orleans.
Adam (In The Honor Of Thieves)is running the Pittsburgh & Orlando
branch for me.
We promote comics, whatever. It's about networking!
Recent additions to the ghetto electro family are: Crypt 33, &
Thanatos Eternal.
The artwork that Crypt 33 puts out is incredible! It's horror
rock at it's best!
Thanatos Eternal is a great metal/industrial act not to be missed.
There are more additions coming soon. Plus movie & music reviews
to be done here & in the myspace ghetto group. So if you are not a
part of the ghetto myspace group, join now!
There will be lots of pics & links added. I run ghetto electro, &
I am shinma & bloodbox. So things are rough esp since I have been
sick. So when I am unable to help out, Pete & Adam will step in for
me!
Screaming Mechanical Brains is hitting the road once again. I
will be posting there tour dates soon. The only band to put shinma
in their cd liner notes! They used to be called Screaming Monkey
Boner. They have a new EP coming out this winter. They remind me
of old Faith No More, & they are probably crazier!
*Movies*
Devils Rejects: I was so excited to see this film...but came out a
bit disappointed. It was good, it's just that it didn't meet up to
my expectations & I would hwave done it different. There are some
things in the film that don't add up as well. & I know the actor
who played grandpa died in real life...but it's like he didn't exist
in this film. & Karen Black did not reprise her role as mother
Firefly. I felt the characters were not as strong or crazy in this
film. The Firefly gang were victims in this film instead of
stalkers. I would say see it, but don't be in a hurry.
The Land Of The Dead: This 4th installment of George A. Romero's
Dead films is Great! Night Of The Living Dead, Dawn Of The Dead,
Day Of The Dead, now Land Of The Dead. This film is done way
differently than the other films. It doesn't have the doom & gloom
feel as the others. I love the fact it shows how people live in a
world that was taken over by zombies. & the fact that even in this
crisis, the rich was seperated from the poor. The gore scenes are
incredible. I love the look & feel of the film & it is gruesome
with many kills. & the fact that the zombies get smarter is awesome.
