Hello to All,

Happy New Year! We know this is a little late but since this is the

POSITRON! NEW RELEASES…
POSI019 SCANALYZER ON THE ONE AND THE ZERO OUT NOW
Scanalyzer is the bastard love child of Sister Machine Gun’s Chris
Randall and Wade Alin of Atomica and Christ Analogue. Their debut
album,
On The One And The Zero, is a tour-de-force of glitch-hop,
noisecore,
and IDM, with a generous dose of dancefloor groove thrown in to
complete
the mix. The tension of the album is palpable as Randall and Alin go
to
great lengths to out-do each other via complicated drum-noise
programming and grinding synthesizers. This album is not to be
missed if
you’re a fan of esoteric electronica.

POSI018 ATOMICA METROPOLITAN OUT NOW
A side project from Wade Alin of Christ Analogue. Metropolitan
maneuvers effortlessly through genres, incorporating elements of
trip hop,
orchestral, down tempo, and lo-fi, all the while illustrating a
compelling
story of loss, affliction, collapse and recovery through Alin’s
unadorned writing approach and Cheatham’s impassioned delivery.
While fans
of Portishead, Bjork, and Lamb are certain to appreciate,
Metropolitan
introduces a sound that is distinctly Atomica. Atomica looks to hit
the road in Feb/March to support the Metropolitan

ARCHETYPE MULTIMEDIA…
AM003 REGENERATOR DISEASE OUT NOW
At last, Regenerator resurfaces with their highly anticipated full
length CD, Disease. Inspired by both personal and universal
experiences,
Disease is an emotionally charged album, charting new territories
into
foreboding atmospheres and pulsating rhythms of epidemic proportions.

Despite the perils of drought, bark beetle disease, wildfires,
floods,
landslides, and tragic personal loss, this duo's work was
challenged,
but not halted. Regenerator once again infects us! This twosome's
tenacity has resulted in the refinement of their craft.

Once again, Regenerator cover an old classic, offering their own
version of "Don't Fear The Reaper". This was inspired by their
current
soundtrack work with independent film makers, Broken Pictures
(formerly
Burning Glass Pictures). Also featured is a bonus music video
of "Terrible
Love", directed by Ezequiel who is a core member of Broken Pictures.
Other pieces resulting from this collaboration include "Fatale",
and "The
Grave", a stunning and beautifully haunting instrumental which
closes
the album.

Be warned, there is no cure! This virus from Regenerator is sure to
spread quickly on dance floors across the globe, infecting us all
with
catchy beats and contagious melodies - This is one "Disease" you
won't
want to shake...
