News & announcements regarding Girls Rock! DC.

Girls Rock! DC is a one-week day camp for 40 girls, ages 8-18, living in Washington DC, culminating in a performance showcase of campers’ original songs on Saturday. During the week, we offer small group instrument instruction based on skill level (electric guitar, bass, drum kit, keyboard, turntables, vocals). Campers will form bands, coached by counselors, and collaborate to write and perform songs. We also offer workshops on gender and cultural identity, making your own band merchandise, promotion and booking shows, conflict resolution, effective communication skills, etc.
