Hey everyone. I just found this group. Glad to see there are still
some BC fan groups out there!

Just some upcoming gig news about former BC member YOGI. I have not
yet heard any of their music but he has his own new band Sugarglider
and they are playing at Room5 on La Brea in L.A. this Friday night.
Then on Saturday, 9/6, YOGI is playing with RICK DUFAY (formerly of
Aerosmith) and his new band (which also includes Dan Rothchild, Dan
Potruch and Steve Wilkins). YOGI played with them on 8/21 with only
one rehearsal and it was f'ing amazing!

Man, talk about LOUD, HARD ROCK/BLUES, FULL ON GUITAR DRIVEN
music...anything BUT boring and predictable! WILD, CRAZY and FUN! The
best part was watching the dueling lead guitar solos between Yogi and
Rick. I MISS THIS KIND OF HARD GUITAR ROCK as it's hard to find
anymore.

Rick has just done three of these warm-up/rehearsal gigs at this
funky dive McReds - this will be the third, the second with YOGI
included. Love to see some former BC fans come out. So if you're
around LA Saturday night (or Friday for Yogi's own gig)...and your
tetanus shots are updated LOL...drop in! I plan on going to both..I
just can't "speak" to what Yogi's own band sounds like as I haven't
heard them but I CAN tell ya about Rick's band...hard, guitar driven
rock/rock&blues.

Yogi has a couple of web sites - one for the new band -
www.sugarglidermusic.com and one of his own www.yogimusic.com which
probably some of you guys know about. We don't have a full site up
for Rick yet but do have a Yahoo fan group, MP3 site with material
from after Aero in London and some web pages full of pics from the
first two rehearsal gigs.

I'm sure most of you know YOGI has been touring with Wallflowers
recently and continues to work with them too. It's great to see him
continue doing a variety of music and starting his own band too.
