Hi! Thank you both for the welcome. It was great discovering this
band, especially at a time when, no offense if anyone enjoys much of
it; it's just my opinion, music today and more and more celebrities
today are just....pitiful. It's pretty difficult to find any type of
role model in Hollywood today. I have done plenty of research on them,
although I do find that many of the sites I have been on conflict in
information. But that's okay because it's usually just minor details.
The first time I heard their music I was pleasantly surprised just how
good it was. I figured it would be, but I didn't expect it to be as
great as it is. I enjoy pretty much every song off of the Very Best CD
and I just ordered Infinity Within so I can't wait to hear the 10
songs off of it that I haven't heard yet. ;) "Pussycat Meow" has to be
one of the funniest songs I have ever heard. I mean, don't get me
wrong, I love "Groove is in the Heart", but I personally don't find
that to be their best song.
I have even tried to promote them to fellow friends of mine, but
unfortunately, no one has been interested so far. I have gotten my
sister, who's 28 and like many others only knows "Groove is in the
Heart", to listen to some of their music and she hasn't had anything
bad to say about them (she did say that "Picnic in the Summertime" was
pretty cool), but so far I haven't been able to make a fan out of her.
I'm working on it, though!
Ah! Here is the video link and again, as a warning, you have to be 18
years old to watch it and have a Youtube account and there is a brief
nudity scene. It's kind of bizarre, but it's pretty cool as well:

Quick question that I haven't been given an answer to yet- did Lady
Miss Kier ever take voice lessons before? She just has the most
amazing voice (I get the chills whenever I listen to "Love Is
Everything") and if she never had lessons....wow. Just incredible.
Also....well, this is going to sound really strange and I am still
very hesitant to bring this up for fear of any backlash, but earlier
today I received a pretty nasty email from someone and I'm not sure if
what he stated about Miss Kier is true and while I researched it
through google and yahoo, I found nothing to prove what he said as
true. I admit I am scared to bring it up for fear of backlash, so I
was just wondering what type of appropriate questions are allowed to
be asked? It has nothing to do with sexual orientation or attitude or
drug use or anything and I don't want to know to be nosy or
disrespectful, but if this person is making up lies and bashing her, I
would like to let him know he is wrong because she doesn't deserve it.
Thanks again!
Love, Nikki
