Re: My Albums

When you say the rest I guess that you mean you
will be getting the rest of the Godflesh discography,
and you should be blown away by "Pure." That Godflesh
album is amazing! I really love that cd! The songs "I
Wasn't Born To Follow", "Baby Blue Eyes", and "Don't
Bring Me Flowers" are my three favorite songs off of
that album and they still sound great today. I don't
know what Godflesh puts on their playlist when they
play live these days but those three songs would be
good on a set list. The self-titled cd is good, but
not necessarily a stand out release in my opinion.
The slateman/cold world cd is cool, especially
because of nihil ( a song they played on the movie
Hideaway). I'll always love "Selfless" that was one of the
first Godflesh albums that I got when I found out about
them in 1994. You'll love all of the cds I'm sure. I
know that you must like listening to Songs Of Love and
Hate. I still remember hearing that album for the first
time back in 11th grade, and knowing that i had to get
it ( a friend of mine played for me in his van).
Brain's drumming on that album is awesome. I never
listened to Fudge Tunnel, but I hear that they have a slow
sort of Black Sabbath/16/stoner rock type of sound.
I'll have to look for one fo their cds some time. So
where do you get your cds? Do they sell them in music
shops where you live? Or do you buy them through mail
order?
