That Caroliner recycled tape is totally blowing my mind! I just listen to it
over and over. It's hands down my favorite tape on that series! Wow!!
Cool Water is RRRon's favorite song.
I love the first one (weird washed out and very quiet, sounds like something
on siltbreeze?), the second or third (where he sings some words so quiet you
can't hear them), the first one on the second side (where you can't even
hear the guitar, but the guy's flasetto is so soaring and beautiful), really
all of them I guess! Tom Jones version is great, that weird talking one on
the first side, also the one on the first side where he sings a few words
and then kind of barks the rest of the line - wtf kind of style is that??
Also my copy has this weird poetry/stand up comedy/tape music after the Cool
Water versions - this story about punching a bully in the face in first
grade, then this really bizarre thing about a drunk ordering pizza? or maybe
i don't really understand that one - total weirdsville!
I got the Grunt recycled recently too, that's great. Taint recycled is from
late 80's or early 90's, I thought it was pretty boring but given the age, I
should give it another listen - I also like Climax Golden Twins and Sudden
Infant recylced -
I love this series!
Have any of you heard Donna Parker recycled? It's pretty uh "special" - !!!!

fuck..Just missed it.
Just finished some copies of a new release though:
A.M. Salad / The SB split.
Should be available from Keith at the fest in Miami.
> is there anything on side "A"? ... can't bring myself to punch the
holes.
Yeah.
Both sides are similar, but on side B the sax eventually drops out,
and the synths get more minimal and psychedelic towards the end.
> PS you got the Iovae stuff?
I did, thanks !
Both are great.
Robert in Allentown said he's down to book an Iovae / Watersports
show at Jeff The Pigeon.
Got the new Caroliner RRRecycled tape today.
A mix-tape of different covers of the same ancient country song, all
about water..?
People should check out Tony Rettman's new "blog" if they have a
