Hello,
The Americana Bistro at 2403 Towne Center Drive in Bellevue will be the
location for a new bluegrass jam, beginning next Thursday, December 10,
at 8pm. Earl Witt will be the jam master, and rumor has it that a lot of
the other fine local pickers are planning to attend. It should be a
great jam, and all are invited, either to bring your instruments and
play along, or to sit and listen.
There's been a suggestion to have a kids jam from 6:30-8:00. Let me know
if you would be interested in attending.
Directions - from Omaha take the Kennedy Freeway to Capehart Rd. Go west
on Capehart Rd to 25th St and take a left, then left again on Towne
Center Drive. It will be on the right.
In the meantime, hope to see everyone Sunday at the GPBOTMA potluck and
open mic. See http://gpbotma.homestead.com/

Hello,
We have added a new page to the GPBOTMA web site, listing our members
who are currently giving lessons on instruments used in bluegrass and
old time music. These include fiddle, guitar, mandolin, banjo, bass,
harmonica, autoharp, hammered and mountain dulcimers, and pennywhistle
and recorder.

If you are interested in learning to play an instrument, consider giving
one of them a call.
If you are interested in being listed as a teacher, please send the
pertinent info to Mindy (mhunke@...) and me.
Thanks,
Jenni
