More sounds from the great-pianists group members.
This is a 2nd file- and talk-area for great-pianists group, with emphasis on g-p members' own music making and interest in music other than just the great-pianists. Emphasis would still be on the classical-music inclined.
Members of
great-pianists yahoogroup are encouraged to
talk about your own efforts, accomplishments, trials, pains, special finds, etc., that don't quite fit into the narrow great-pianists topic.
This is a
far less rules-laden extension of the relatively sedate great-pianists group.
The group is
not publicly listed on Yahoogroups, to keep it just an offshoot of g-p.
Feel free to:
- let us know about your own background, what you have done or are working on, with relation to music, as well as (if you want) info about what you do that isn't related to music. It would be nice to know more about the g-p members.
- upload a general bio in the Files area about yourself also, if you like, so we don't need to search messages to find the basic stuff. Use first name, last name, and email name in paren so we can find you mor easily.
- use the area for ongoing Off-Topic or less-holds-barred discussions than is possible in g-p.
- point us to websites with interesting audio/video samples also when they don't fit at g-p
- post competition or festival news, reviews, reports when they don't quite fit the g-p area for longer discussions.
While we discourage product-spammers and non-classical music discussions, this is a much looser discussion page. So, readers 'take note' ;)
For more moderate and narrow-focused discussions, g-p members can choose
the primary great-pianists group :-)
