Dear Rob:
Hi! Well I am glad you got to see the Stones. From
the way
you described it, it was must have been very
impressive and
unforgettable. Anita Pallenberg, Marianne Faithfull
and other
Stones friends were also there. Anita was pregnant
with
Marlon and Marianne had her son with her. I think
Suki was
there also, but not sure. I have been trying to find
out any
information on Suki like where she lived and died and
what
year she died and anything else but it has been
virtually
impossible. It is like any info has been banished from
the
planet. Am beginning to wonder if her name was really
Suki Potier. She was supposedly from Portugal.
Anyway, do you have any videos of the Rolling Stones
with
Brian? I am looking for videos of the Stones
especially ones
with Brian where he is talking, moving, doing
something
for at least more than 2 minutes! I would love to
have a tape
of him for at least 30 minutes or more around 1965 or
later,
because he started to lose that real young boyish look
on
his face about then.
Do you have any pictures of Brian yourself? I belong
to two
Rolling Stone groups one of which is also an RS group
which includes other celebrities and musicians. One
group
is Rolling Stones 40 years, which I am assistant
manager.
There are some really good pictures of Brian on that
site.
The other is Cultish Celebs Icons which is a private
site by
invitation only with many pics and articles and etc.
Sometime check out RS 40 years, and see what you
think.
One of the things I have seen on some forums is people
talking about reasons for exhuming Brian's body and I
hope
they never do that. I cannot figure out why in the
world that
would even be necessary. There would be no reason for
that anyway, at least none that I can think of. What
a nightmare.
So we can talk about rock history here with the
Rolling Stones as the main topic, no problem. It is
good to remember the good old days of the weird 1960's
when things
were changing so fast, and society was coming out of
the
Dark Ages so to speak. And it seems we might be close
to
the same age, if I may be so bold.
So take care and stay loose and peace in the valley on
your
side of the pond.
