I understand. I think Mick is touring like in Canada, and maybe Europe.
He has supposedly gained a considerable amount of weight which is no
biggie many people do as they age. I do not know very much about Mick Taylor
just pass along what little I have read and what others have told me.
Speaking for my self only, I prefer the Stones when Brian was with the group.
I think because I grew up with the Stones in my teenage years and to me
they sounded much better. But every Stones fan has their favorite years and
albums. My favorite Stones era was from 1962 until 1968. But this is just
me.

I loved the book as well. Brian did not just die from some asthma attack. It
amazes and disgusts me how the Stones act like that is fact. I love the Rolling
Stones. I like the Brian period most but they still pump them out. Mick
Taylor...a big mistake. Were they really after him for his guitar abilities or
were they looking for someone who remotely looked a bit like Brian. Mick T. was
not a true Stone. Pete best seems to be getting more work than him. LOL! Now
Ronnie is a different story all together. He IS a true Rolling Stone (my opinion
folks...only my opinion). Ronnie is actually a Brian Jones fan. He wanted to use
one of Brian's guiitars that he bought on tour but Keith didnt like that idea so
he didnt. What the hell! Does anyone believe that STONED the movie will come to

From what I have read, the movie Stoned will be in the USA at the beginning<BR>
of next year sometime. It could even come out later. I heard the same

about Ronnie wanting to use Brian's guitar during a concert and Keith got

irate and upset!! What the hell does it make any difference to him anyway?<BR>
Books have indicated that Mick Taylor had all the qualifications for being
in<BR>
the band. I don't know very much about Mick Taylor, but from what I have<BR>
heard he left due to the drugs, lifestyle and the Glimmer Twins NOT giving<BR>
him credit on songs, etc.. It has been rumoured that Mick and Keith are<BR>
ruthless in their songwriting and feel they should be the ONLY ones writing<BR>
songs for the band. However Bill Wyman did manage to get through in <BR>
writing a song or two. <BR>
