Never take a laxative and a sleeping pill
at the same time before going to bed.
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me
than a frontal lobetomy.

Subject: [GRACE'S BRIAN JONES CLUB] Stones Song

The Stones took a big risk releasing Little Red Rooster as a single.
But Mick and Keith believed in it, Brian definitely believed in it,
and it was successful. I think it's one of the best songs on Rolling
Stones Now, an amazing song, not to mention, that a pure Blues song
hitting number one in the Pop charts was a hell of an achievement in
1965. A hell of an achievement for the Blues genre. There's a great
version of this song, taken from the tv show Shindig, with close-ups
of Mick's child-bearing lips, hahaha. If you want to check it out,
along with live versions of Satisfaction, Play With Fire, and
Everybody Needs Somebody To Love, go to Google and type in Rolling
Stones On Shindig, 1965. Lately,it hasn't been downloading for me, for
some reason, but maybe it would on someone else's computer.Respect.
Yes I do agree. I love Little Red Rooster. Someone told me No Expectations
was also Brian's song, but I don't know anything about that.
Does anyone know what Brian's favorite Stones songs were? I know he loved the
Blues, and I do as well, but can't remember what his favorite ones
were that were put out by the Stones. I also read he put out a "solo"(?) called
"Sure I Do" but never made it or something, can't remember.
Have you heard Walkin The Dog? Wow he could shatter GLASS with that
whistling!!! Will check out Google, now that would be under Video right?
I will check that out. Thanks.

ps-Johnny Cash is considered a Country artist, but a lot of his songs
crossed over, whereas, a Blues song had never done that, which is why
Little Red Rooster was such a significant single, Imo.
