Things to know about Gravity Tree and this Yahoo! group:
• Gravity Tree plays a fairly progressive, experimental version of what most people call rock. Sometimes it has alternative elements, other times it goes completely into the avant garde;
• Some say they sound like Zappa, other say Rush, and still others point to King Crimson, Glass Hammer, Jethro Tull or someone else entirely. Regardless of influences, they maintain an original sound;
• Gravity Tree are a duo - that is, 2 people playing a variety of instruments to make a big sound - not your coffee house duo variety!
• Newest music is a song called "Building"
• The latest CD is called ULTIMATE BACKWARD;
• The CD before ULTIMATE BACKWARD was LIFE OR DESSERT? and you might like that one as well;
• If you're a long-time fan, you might even know about the vinyl release before LOD!
• A new CD is in the works.
