In addition, this is meant to be a site where you can share your thoughts and
feelings on performances you have seen at the San Francisco Opera (or on
TV, radio, or web cast) or any other aspect of the life of the San Francisco
Opera that you think would be of interest to other opera fans.

The San Francisco Opera is about to launch its "Gamble of Love" summer
season, featuring George Bizet's "The Pearl Fishers," Pyotr Tchaikovsky's
"The Queen of Spades," and Wolfgang Mozart's "Cosi fan tutte."

Notable contributors to the summer season include Charles Castronovo as
Nadir in The "Pearl Fishers;" Katarina Dalayman as Lisa and Hanna Schwarz
as the Countess in "Queen of Spades;" and Nathan Gunn as Guglielmo and
Frederica von Stade as Despina in "Così fan tutte". Conductor Ann Manson
makes her SF Opera debut with "Cosi."
