QueenAdreena played two UK gigs this week as warm-ups prior to their
trip to Japan. The first was at the Cellars in Eastney (which was
really just a small pub outside Portsmouth) and was the smallest gig I
have ever seen them play. It was noticable for the absence of Pete
Howard, who appears to have left the band. His replacement, Stuffy, did
a great job with very little rehearsal time, but it was a pretty
disjointed performance in parts. They played a 15 song set, and Katie
wore a plastic carrier bag as a dress... Two days later they played at
the famous 100 Club in Oxford Street in London. This one was MUCH
tighter, was rammed full, and we were treated to a three song encore
of 'Heaven'; 'Year of You' and 'Pretty Polly'.
I have posted a few photos in the groups photo setion...
Other news is a new gig in Paris, France on 16th January.
