GuitarFX 3 is completlly different software from GuitarFX v2.18
I supplied all my registered users of GuitarFX v2.18 with new
MODIFICATONS of v2.18 during many years! (from 1997!)
Yes, I added new features etc. during many years
but the name of the GuitarFX software continue to be
const=GuitarFX v2.18,
and all registered users since 1997 received upgrades for free.

But GuitarFX 3 is not the modification of 2.18.
GuitarFX 3 is absolutelly new software.
It was written as ABSOLUTELY new code.
Look at microsoft! Say, you can upgrade from Windows 98
to Windows 98 SE(for money!!!), but you can't upgrade from Windows
98 SE to Windows XP! You must buy Windows XP for full price.
I am not so strong man as Bill Gates.
I still allow registered users of GuitarFX v2.18
to buy upgrade to GuitarFX 3 for $10
(but this is the limited time offer, if you want it - be fast!)
