Hi,

Today I were talking with my friend about different tunings. I always
thought that when you tuned your guitar let's say every string 4 frets lower
for example, you guitar just sounds lower, but appearantly you also have to
change how you place your fingers on the fretboard (I agree with that when
you tune every string different). And when you're playing in a band, why is
it not possible that only one of the two guitars use a different tuning than
the others ?
I get the dropped D thing 'cause it's only one string you tune, but I don't
understand the others.

Thanks,
J
