If I decided that I wanted to change the
pickguard on my Tele, when I have the new one screwed on,
how do I adjust the pickups back to the right height.
Is there a physical guide I can use or measurements
out on the web. Can I "customize" the height and
angles that the pickups have, or is there a certain
range that is only valid. Also, how hard is it to
install dif. pickups. Let's say I want a Tex Mex pickup,
is the wiring that hard to undo-do and change for
someone w/ little electric knowledge (and I also don't
have a soldering iron) or would I be better off taken
it to a luthier or someone who has electrical
knowledge?
