Hello,

I'm a new member. In some ways still a rookie at
Guitars ..lol..I was hoping I might meet some people
that really know the guitar. I would like to do repair
work on my guitar myself because sometimes little shops
can take you for a ride. I wondered a few things.
Are there any guitar repair videos out there that a
person could buy? I also wanted to know about the different
classes of guitars. I own an Alvarez and I was told once that
that is in the Fender family. Can someone tell me the differences
in the two? I also know some guitars are easier to play.
Stevie Ray Vaughan is what sparked my interest in the guitar agian.
That could be a whole other set of questions. LOL
He played 13 strings. His guitar neck and body from two different
years. I can get into that all later..lol
For now could someone answer those other questions.

Thanks,
Doug
