I dunno about the on-board USB pre-amp for your violin, but as far as
changing the bolt on neck to set-in, I can't see how you'd do it.
Theoretically you could modify the neck itself and cut some sort of
dovetail joint, but then the neck pocket can't be successfully
modified drastically enough to make it work. About the best you can
accomplist is to modify the neck and build yourself a custom body
(use the one you've got as a template) and then cut the neck pocket
to fit your joint.
