In my opinion, no. The guitar will not be damaged, however, if you
are hanging an electric, then that might be a different story. If you
are hanging an acoustic, use a leather strap, cut it about 9" long
and make a slit towards the end. Simply slip the starp over the d,
and g sting tuners and bingo, instant wall art. I have many guitars
hanging around my house and workshop, as does my father and
grandfather, and none of their guitars have warped. If you would
like, you may want to put a little piece of carpet with an adhesive
backing on the wall in order to prevent th finish from being
scratched.
