BULLETIN:
I have received a few phone calls and several e-mails so far, so I just wanted to send out a quick e-mail to update any of you who may be concerned.
Some of you know that Great White is one of my 2-3 favorite bands, and to those of you who have contacted me about it, I thank you for your concern, but I did not attend the Great White concert last night at The Station in West Warwick, Rhode Island where the tragic fire occurred.
Other than band members, who I have interviewed 2-3 times over the years, I am not aware of anyone else involved in the concert/fire who have any connection with me or with Geoff Wilbur's Renegade Newsletter (GWRN). (All I know about the fire is what I have seen on TV.)
I'm sure you join me in hoping that the death toll from this tragedy does not continue to rise, that those who are still missing are found, and that those who are in hospitals heal completely.

I know we haven't sent out a GWRN update in a while. Watch your e-mailbox for an update in the next couple of weeks. And please be sure to note our current mailing address. We moved in September 2002, but we are still getting mail at our old address. (We are checking the old address in Newport once every couple of months until the mail stops coming, so if you have sent something to the old address, don't worry -- we will get it. Also, about 6 weeks ago, we sent a new online edition to our website people. In addition to dozens of reviews, the edition includes interviews with All Else Failed, Diecast, JJ Paradise Player's Club, Khanate, Leechmilk, WASP, Scar Culture, Scissorfight, Mushroomhead, Bloodlet, and Disarray. When our web guys get this issue online, we will notify the mailing list.
