It's like Christmas in July, a few days early! Check out
the "Files" section and you'll notice the recent addition of a new
Hadden/Mike Orlando song, "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree"! This
is an advance release of what will be available on their Christmas
duet album due out in a few months. It has an EXCELLENT interplay
between Hadden's guitar and Mike's mandolin, plus a cool accordion
(ever think you'd see those two words together?) backing Hadden's
vocals. Within my limited music vocabulary, I get a Los Lobos feel
out of it, but with a healthy dose of Texas. This definitely ain't
the Brenda Lee version you heard on your momma's 45s. Give it a
listen, and let us know what you think. As for me, I'm making room
for another CD!

For those fans in the Pennsylvania/Ohio/Michigan/New York area, keep
watching for dates. Hadden mentioned doing a few festivals in the
region in the not-too-distant future. Until then, he wants everyone
to know that he's still actively writing his next album. It'll be
yet another great one, if the new song is any indication!
