Network problems prevented me from posting this earlier:

I caught the Orlando-Sayers Acoustic Show at Houston's Mucky Duck on
12/26. Hadden created a new Christmas tradition for me in 2004 when
he performed at the Mucky Duck with Carolyn Wonderland. Last year,
Bert Wills shared the stage with him in a ear-pleasing blues
evening. This year was different, but certainly as fun.

As you can imagine, much of the performance was Christmas songs from
the recently released Orlando-Sayers album. As much as I love the
album, I think the live performances were even better. It is fun to
watch the interplay between two talented musicians in such a
stripped-down setting. Between Christmas songs, Michael played some
of his own compositions and Hadden attempted to satisfy the many
audience requests. He played two songs that are not (yet)
released, "Gravity" and "Why Oh Why." If you catch a show, see if
he'll play these excellent songs.

Hadden kidded that it might be sacrilegious to follow
AC/DC's "Highway to Hell" with "Silent Night", but my ears didn't
mind it one bit.

Houston loves Hadden: where else can a guy go after a one-year
absence, and pack an acoustic venue on a Tuesday night, the day
after Christmas?

Later that week, I was messing around on the internet and found an
XM Satellite Radio playlist that shows they had the Orlando-Sayers
album getting quite a bit of airplay. I posted the screengrab to
the "files" section. Click on the "files" link on the far left,
then scroll to the bottom of the file listing.
