Handsonskins for East Coast Australia
The aim of this group is to further the cause of hand drumming and percussion and ecstatic dance, preferably in a circle format. Use it as an info list for drum circles on the East coast of Australia or for questions about hand drumming, festival experiences, fire circle etiquette or where to get a new head or how to make a drum.

Drum circles are energised by the dancers so dancers are more than welcome to post info and participate in all aspects of the group. And other percussion has its place in the circle, as do bardic tales, chanting, and toning. Drum circles are, after all, healing engines so discussion on reiki practices or trance experiences or consciousness altering substances could be had here.

But the drum circle is what it is all about. Making them happen, entraining in the rhythms, meeting Spirit and being played or danced by the inner horizon.

If you run a festival in Australia with drum circles and/or percussion and dance included, this is the place to make it known. Preferably in enough time for members to obtain early rego discounts.
