So I fired up the car this morning to warm it up (frost on my car
this morning in Minnesota) while the wife and I take all the trash
and recyclables out. She hears my Stretch Arm Strong CD playing and
says, "I don't know how you can listen to that hate music.". I was
absolutely floored. I was in a hurry to get to work so about all I
could say was "Uhh, yeah. I bought this at the Christian book store."
This isn't the first time the subject has come up. She's of the
mindset that any hardcore music can't possibly be Christian or have
any redeeming value to it. Sharing the lyrics with her doesn't seem
to change her mind, either.
Has anyone here had to deal with something like this before? Have
any ideas?
