I havent ran into anyone that just flat out disagrees that hard music
cant be positive or from a Christian perspective. Mostly, they just
kinda sound incredulous and take my word for it (probably cause they
dont want to listen to it long enough to form an opinion.. haha).
I think basically for anyone to say that because it sounds heavy or
angry or whatever and to automatically associate it with being evil
is unfortunate. Judging a book by its cover. Things arent always what
they seem. Thats like listening to some happy sounding pop song and
just assuming they have something good to say, nevermind the fact
that it might be full of sexual innuendo or whatever. To me, music is
absolutely neutral, then when you add the lyrics and heart of it's
writer is when it takes on its meaning.
