Why not stick to audio discs (WAV files) then everyone can use them ? I know the all pro-SHN arguments, but we're not talking about large numbers of discs here...

Alan, received your shn file cd this morning and managed to decode it and save it to my hard drive but now my cd burner software can't read the decoded files...
One could argue that as they're not commercially available and if traded for free, then no one's being done out of any money (= the bottom line ?), therefore...
Exercising Some Control..... the decompression software should turn the SHN into WAV, which should be able to be read by any cd burning software ...I think...
