This mailing list is a continuation of Harpmakers mail list started by Keith Rogers, which in turn was spawned from the Harp mail list. We discuss all subjects pertaining to design, construction and repair of folk (non-pedal) harps (mostly). However, any subject related to harps is welcome. In addition to the current YahooGroups archive, the pre-1999 archives are still accessible. Robert, the string is about 24" and was a hair shy of 0.32, and was a C note. It was the lowest string. After the holiday rush, I will contact the jeweler in

Iris, what's the length and pitch of the string you replaced with silver? Perhaps the stress is in the right range for bronze (especially if bronze sounds
