Since I will have the luxury (if driving 7 hours is a luxury) of driving to
SPAH this week so I decided to bring all the equipment and parts necessary to
do repairs on both Hohner chromes and handmade harps if anyone is in need of
work on their main or backup harps. This is the time to get it fixed or
tweaked. I can quote you a price before I do the work.
I will have the tools to do:
Diatonic services
tune
replace 4 draw or blow reeds on handmade Hohners
Chromatic services
Clean
Tune
replace windsavers
replace 5 draw reeds on C chromes for you 3rd position guys
replace nails with screws on older plastic comb 280s.
Seal cracks in wood combs (provided you give me the harp by Thursday)
I'm also bringing spare used stock chrome parts including, various slides,
coverplates, screws and nuts, springs, slide bumpers, etc., if yours are
damaged.
I will be doing the work from my room. Not the clinics.
You can contact me by getting my room # from the front desk or ask any the
regular harpl convention guys to point me out.
I will be arriving sometime after 9pm Wednesday evening.
