Skyak in. You nailed it, Pete! 6 harps are plenty, but tell that to my key/chord
changing amigos, eh? They MAKE me haul around 12 so I can accomodate their
nonsense. Hey, if ya can sing in Db, ya can sing in D or ya can sing in C, its
just that simple. But Nooooooo! Got to play a Db for The Precioussesss.
Yack!!!!!
(Ok I admit I still believe in 12, but that's so you can play along with any
recording ever made, so there's absolutely no song you can't learn. Then
transpose it to something, "normal, eh? and use only 6 or 7 live)
OK, so some of you guys want to him to "keep it simple" and NOT have the guy get
6 more harps to have a full chromatic scale set that will cover every situation
in the world he could ever encounter BUT you DO want him to get doubles of harps
he already has so he can play with a variety of subtle timbre changes in the
same keys????? Hey, whatever, but sounds odd to me!
Take it easy,
The ever-so-irascible Skyak
