The only way I know is to contact Hohner and request valves ("wind
savers") for one of their chromatics. They will sell you a large
collection for not much money. A guy named Bill Rommel used to sell
self-adhering valves, but he died earlier this year and I think it
unlikely that his family is continuing his work. You may inquire at

You don't lose anything...the valves allow more expression, shading, and additional halfstep bends both blow and draw. The valves also make the instrument more...

How ya doin, busq? I play valved Suzukis mostly for blues. When I started, I didn't lose a thing that I was able to do on an umvalved diatonic. It took a while...
