Spamming a Yahoo! Group is pretty easy. I run my own group.. (

And the only way to counter these spammers is to stay on top of them
and delete their "non-topical" messages. I'm doing it on a
semi-regular basis with the help of another moderator. So far we're
winning the fight since I put a disclaimer in my welcome message about
spamming..
But it will happen...unfortunantly... Of course spamming of
individual email accounts is a different matter which is an on-going
battle. The thing to do in this case is to not reply to them back
since it gives them a legit target saying that your email account is
active.
