Here's the songs I remember them playing (not in order), with the
caveat that my memory is horrible:
Big Brown Eyes
Doreen
Victoria
Time Bomb
Cash on the Barrelhead
Lonely Holiday
Rollerskate Skinny
Barrier Reef
Old Familiar Stream
Jagged
New Kid
A Cater Albrecht song
A new song - maybe titled "Dance with me"?
Mama Tied (I think I remember them playing it)
They played just under an hour with no encore. The new song is hard
driving with a Spanish flair and made me really excited about the new
album. Rhett screwed up the lyrics to Old Familiar Stream and at least
one other song.
I don't know if it was the emotional nature of the benefit, or maybe
it's just that I haven't seen them in years & don't know what's
typical for their shows, but it kind of seemed like Rhett was a little
distracted and laboring a bit at moments. Y'all probably would also
know if it's typical for Ken to not have much interaction with the
rest of the band and not show a lot of emotion while playing (as
compared to Murry's big grin throughout). It was great seeing them and
the night was pretty emotional with the tributes to Carter Albrecht.
I'll be interested in reading other people's reactions to the video (I
can't wait to see them!!).
The Drams rocked pretty darn hard too.
