Thanks, Dave. I'll check it out. Or, I can just ask--I see BSO section horn
section members and their students from time to time, and Boston area horn
players will be out in force this Friday to hear Michael Thompson play the
Britten Serenade (Michael Slattery, tenor). Somebody there will know.

Danny has moved to Arizona, I think. He played the Tanglewood season this
summer, but he's now teaching at Arizona State, I believe it is.

Now my curiosity is up. I'll find out and report back to the list. I'm
betting it was a Kühn, or maybe a Paxman. Finke and Schmid, despite their
quality, haven't made many inroads here in Boston. On the other hand, Jamie
plays a Yamaha custom double for most of the BSO concerts, so it's not
impossible that he would play a Yamaha triple.

Of course, Ken Pope might catch wind of this thread and pop his head up
before I find out ^_^
