The Houston Audio Society is a group of audio and music enthusiasts from the Houston metropolitan area. We hold monthly meetings to share ideas, listen to records and CD's, hear different types of audio equipment, host guest speakers, attend audio related events and seminars, and visit audio retail shops.
We are interested in the full range of audio equipment from entry level through the highest quality components. The shared interest that holds us together is our love of music and the equipment that reproduces it accurately and with feeling. To join the Houston Audio Society just come to one of our regular meetings. Membership dues are $20 annually.
Next Meeting: July 11th: The main theme of the meeting will be about high resolution digital audio files, computer based playback system components and software and most importantly, the music as produced by a few record labels that have ventured into this area. If any members have hi-rez files that you want played on this occasion, please contact Robert ahead of time.
