Alan Hovhaness lived from 1911-2000 and his music integrates many different styles,including Armenian and Far Eastern flavour. His music,while represented by many recordings,is still under appreciated by the masses and deserves much more exposure.
Hopefully this Society can help bridge that gap and advance public knowledge of Mr Hovhaness and his music.
