1. THREESOME SERIES

Today is a beautiful day, we are really glad to announce the
Threesome Series is about to end. The first disc was released in
March 2000, the second in August 2000 and now, after a 9 months
interruption, the third and final part is about to be ready. This
disc is going to surprise many. Using samples provided to him by
Ambre (John N Sellekaers, C-drik and Olivier Moreau), Mick Harris is
taking you into a very dense and subtle universe or sparkling and
colorful sound experiments. This is the first full-length release in
Mick Harris’ discography using electroacoustic techniques to the
level of this one.

Subscribers to the series will be sent (in multiple batches) their CD
within the next ten days. The CD will be available for ordering on
our website within this time period. We are ready to take wholesale

Exclusive to us, first of a series of distribution collaboration in
between the new Belgian label (Falling Elevators) and Hushush, is the
series of four business card CD-R by John N Sellekaers. All four CD’s
are packed in a minimal bag, and each CD has its own full color card
leaflet with information. John is known for his mastering work under
the name of Metarc Studio, chosen by many as sign of high quality and
professionalism. But he is certainly better know to the public for
his many incarnations such as Xingu Hill, Ammo, Ambre, Torsion, Snog,
Moonsanto to name a few. This series of four mini CD’s is a breath
taking experiment. A chance for John to try techniques other labels
didn’t really allow him to fully experience. Very experimental
electroacoustic music that can for sure is linked with the
forthcoming Dys CD in collaboration with Mick Harris on Hushush. This
item is exclusive to us and is also very limited!

A very interesting item we have is also the CD by Nad Spiro on
Esplendor Geometrico’s label, which will please the fan of old
industrial experiments. Maximalist by Le Syndicat is a piece of
history in techno industrial music. Sigillum S also on Daft Records
(Dive, Hybryds etc) is no other than Eraldo Bernocchi (Bill Laswell,
Toshinori Kondo, Mick Harris etc). This Dive double CD is an piece of
collection with remixes by Numb, Laether Strip, Starfish Pool,
Monolith etc plus the re-release of the 1994 classic No Pain No Game.
The Trifid Project is James Plotkin (Old, Scorn etc) with Celluloid
Matta’s Matthieu and a couple of other friends on Vacuum (Ant-Zen
side label). New additions from Crowd Control Activities, ranging
from As All Die military and death folk music to Inanna (Mikael
Stavöstrand) interesting minimal glitchy dark ambient. Imagine Caul
and Trust Obey getting collaboration from Swans’ Jarboe and you are
getting Blackmouth.

5. MISCELLANEOUS AND THANKS

Hushush will start to act as a real distributor in June with the
release of Ammo’s Kaleinoscope. This CD release limited to 300 copies
will be exclusive to us and will be available in the same time as Dys
by Mick Harris & Ambre. I would like to thank John and C-drik at
Falling Elevators for giving me the chance to distribute their
excellent output.

Fraud – Hell – Dope… Three words you are not going to forget. Coming
this fall, a long playing CD by Moonsanto on Hushush.

Hyalin, Hushush new collection dedicated to emerging artists within
the electronic culture is in its final gestation phase… Coming soon.

I would like to thank Kapotte Muziek’s Roel, Petter and Frans for
taking the time to show us this past week many different
improvisation techniques. And giving me the chance to participate
with them in a live concert during the Mutek Festival here in
Montréal, Québec last week.
