I haven't had a chance to really compare 16 bit and 24 bit recordings to
see myself - I think it would be pretty hard to tell the difference.

THAT GIVEN, I think it's a direction we really need to encourage. I am
personally pretty jaded that the dominant format for music is becoming less
than CD quality digital downloads. Digital music is hardly an advancement
if we are accepting a lower quality audio product than the CD.

I would prefer to get the new album on a CD too, but if I have to buy a download I prefer a lossless format. The upside to FLAC downloads is that you don't...
