This is a National level Teachers Association. The teachers in Library and Information Science formed this Association about four decdades back and it makes an effort to bring all the teachers under one umbrella. It also tries to create better communication among the teachers. It publishes a news letter namely IATLIS COMMUNICATION. It organises annual conferences. Other than teachers can join as members but they can not contest in the elections i.e. they can not become office bearers.

This GROUP is started to have better communication among the professionals.I invite you to join and contribute information for the benefit of all the members.
