Mark Lester? I remember him. No, I didn't know he and Michael were that
close. I think it's good he's come out now and said what he's saying. Too
many people, including Michael's own father seem to be trying to take advantage
of his death. I'm glad there are people like Mark Lester around who are talking
about Michael without trying to take advantage of him. I'm glad for the insight
he's providing.

Thought I would join the comments to this - I don't think you really need to be
a fan of his music to say its a loss - the guy was such an entertainer and a
true musical legend.

Theres been a few interviews and comments here in the UK from Mark Lester - Mark
was a similar child star famous for his role as 'Oliver' in the musical film.
What alot of people here did not know was that he was one of MJ's best friends
since the early '80's - apparently MJ was a big fan of the film and wanted to
meet him then and they became best of friends - Mark was apparently always
behind the scenes with Michael at alot of his appearences. They were godparents
to each others children.

Mark has given a real insight into the man most never see - apparently alot of
the hype was a clever disguise from the MJ pubilicity machine (Masks/veils etc)
to keep the 'mystery' going. Mark has released photos to the press of MJ at
Marks house in the UK whenever he was here - seems he loved junk food - Mark
believes MJ was the most mis-reported person in the world and was totally
different in private to the man we all read about.
