hey just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has joined the
iluvnate club throughout the years. i created this club cause i do
still have a crush on nate. i've had a crush on him since i was 9 and
now i'm 21. dang that's been a long time. lol. i have been keeping up
with the postings and i just wanted to let everyone know to feel free
to post about anything u're feeling even if its non-nate related.
feel free to vent. i live in beaumont and i go to the university
there and i was affected by hurricane rita and katrina. with katrina
i saw my city and my state filled up with thousands of people and
then a few weeks later i too felt some of what they felt though not
as great. i was fortunate enough that i am able to go back to my
apartment and its still there. the only things that i lost was almost
a month's worth of income from my job, electricity, and all the food
that i had in my fridge, but i still have my health, my home, and i
know where the members of my family are and i know where my friends
in beaumont and the surrounding counties are. my school is starting
back wednesday and we'll extend the semester until dec. 22, but i'm
still going to be able to graduate in may. i realize how blessed i am
and how valuable education is. i used to complain about going to
school all the time but during this time all i wanted to do was to be
able to get up and go to class. so to everyone who reads this, don't
take little things like that for granted. just being able get up in
the morning and cook my own breakfast is something that i'm looking
forward to.
