*****OUR HOT PICKS FOR THE WEEK!
COMBICHRIST "FROST EP: SENT TO DESTROY"
The auditory assault tactician known as Combichrist has spent over five years
perfecting his blend of relentless beats, uncompromising vocals, and acidic
melodies. His 2007 album, What The Fuck Is Wrong With You People? was his most
successful album to date and is still getting countless spins in clubs and
college radio stations around the world. Preparing to release his fourth full
length album, Combichrist presents the Frost EP: Sent To Destroy. Featuring
three brand new tracks and six remixes, the EP packs more punch than all of the
UFC fighters combined! From the opening track, “Sent To Destroy” through the
final remix, each track is one not to be missed. The Frost EP: Sent To Destroy
proves once again that Combchrist is an unstoppable force in a league of his
own. Released on Metropolis and available July 8th, 2008.

OUT OUT "ASSUMED OUTRIVALING"
While "Virtual Sound Images" was a departure for Out Out into more upbeat,
clubby territory, "Assumed Outrivaling" is the continuation of this tangent, the
3 AM after-effects of attending V.S.I.'s club atmosphere. Or a soundtrack for
the travel home. Fans of earlier Out Out works - "Finched", in particular - will
also find familiar textures and melodic themes scattered throughout. One hour
long, "Assumed Outrivaling" is an excellent instrumental soundtrack for the
waning hours when the adrenaline is still active, but all the edges are blurred.
Released on Radio Valkyrie and available June 10th, 2008.

*****HOT PRE-ORDERS!!
VARIOUS "SYNTHPOP CLUB ANTHEMS 5"
The "Synthpop Club Anthems" compilations have helped to define the modern
synthpop scene for years, presenting dance club-friendly songs to move bodies
and elevate minds. This fifth volume is loaded with another collection of
high-energy tracks that are as well written as they are well produced, showing
that dance music doesn't have to be built upon the pairing of dull, repetitive
lyrics with a thumping beat. After all, that's one of the strengths of the
modern synthpop underground-- that great voices can sing great songs with great
electronics! The liner notes to Volume 5 features brief thoughts and stories
from the fans, expressing what the music has meant to them. Released on A
Different Drum and available June 1st, 2008.

PORTISHEAD "THIRD"
NOW SHIPPING!!
Portishead returns from a ten-year hiatus with eleven new tracks that are sure
to please long-time fans, and newcomers alike. In the early 1990s, before
triphop was even given a name, Portishead was right there in the fray, defining
this new genre, amongst the ranks of Massive Attack, Tricky, and others. But
Portishead's take was different still: Unlike many of their contemporaries, they
fused jazz, house, and ethereal sounds into their work, broadening their
audience appeal. Alternative rockers, electronic ravers, and classic breakbeat
enthusiasts all took to their sound. In recent years, the music industry has
watched Gnarls Barkley, The Gorillaz, and others follow their lead - and thrive.

for their excellent German Old School EBM but were also able to catch up with

and like TYSKE LUDDER it always did - as aggressive as it's possible. Just give
a listen to "thetanen"!! The new EP comes up with 3 brand new tracks and

PROSPECTIVE "THE DARK SIDE OF LIFE"
NOW SHIPPING!!
"The Dark Side of Life", the debut album of PROSPECTIVE is the result of two
years of intensive musical work. The two musicians Carola Müller (composition,
lyrics, vocals) and Marco Thomaschewski (composition, arrangement) have a very
sensitive and personal approach to the darker sides of life - which made "The
Dark Sides of life" become an album with lots of different faces. It combines
all shades of electronic music and gives the proof that it is possible to mix
EBM, Electro and Gothic in such a skillful way that it all sounds like being
part of one great musical work. Harsh beats and emotional ballads, connected by
Carola's great voice, combined with skillfully arranged vocal compositions will
let you enjoy an unique and diversified CD. To sum up: a great piece of work -
thrilling and demanding! Be sure to experience songs like "Deadly Sins" and
"Path of Life"! Released on Firezone.

DANDELION WINE "SELECTED ANACHRONISMS"
NOW SHIPPING!!
Dandelion Wine's new album Selected Anachronisms (Ars Musica Diffundére/Black
Rain Media Group) is a slight departure from 2006's ~An Inexact Science~, with a
greater emphasis on the intensity of the band's live show which has enthralled
people around the world. The album features Dandelion Wine's trademark tapestry
of old acoustic instruments (such as dulcimer, lute, flute, bowed psaltery),
layered atmospheres and singer Naomi Henderson's enrapturing vocal, but adds a
new element of big danceable beats and grooves. This change has been brought
about in part by the band's frequent touring : since the release of ~An Inexact
Science~ Dandelion Wine have embarked on three full tours of Australia and a 3
month tour of Europe and Japan. Recorded in various locations in Australia
including inner city Melbourne and a tranquil farm house in rural Gippsland,
"Selected Anachronisms" features the an even wider array of instruments than
previous Dandelion Wine albums, with everything from medieval strings
instruments, to analogue synths, ethnic percussion to multi-layered guitars, all
underpinned by a solid foundation of electronic beats. Released on Ars Musica
