Indy Folk Series stuff you gotta know about:
- Wild Mercy with Robin Riebsomer (Saturday, March 18)
- Just added! Ben Tousley (Saturday, April 1--no fooling)
Not IFS, but very cool and possibly un-missable:
- Live concert version of Cary Fields' "Fields of Bluegrass" (this Friday, March 10)

April 1 details
Indy Folk Series presents singer/songwriter BEN TOUSLEY
(By special arrangement--not originally announced)
Ben Tousley has traveled widely in the United States as well as in England and Ireland. His lively, engaging concerts blend hopeful topical songs, singalongs, wry storytelling and lyrical love songs. The Boston Globe writes: "Tousley's ability to begin political writing deep within himself represents the genre at its best."
Tousley has released five albums of original songs including his recent CD, "Open the Gates." Pete Seeger writes: "I respect the work of Ben Tousley tremendously."

But first, this--Friday, March 10
Note: Once in a while, we use this space to announce something very special,
even if it isn't presented by the Indy Folk Series.
Cary Allen Fields invites those who love acoustic music (that's us) to hear:
The PUNKIN HOLLER BOYS
IL TROUBADORE & CARENZA BINT AZYA
Combining their talents for this very special edition of our
"Live From The Fields" concert series.
That's right! Humor, Italian Bel Canto-style renditions of bluegrass standards, old-timey pickin', Cajun, operatic renditions of disco and classic rock tunes, humor, rock-a-billy, belly dancing...and did I mention humor?
If there are two bands in the great state of Indiana that are more entertaining, I'd like to meet them.
You miss this, you miss out!
