Here's your chance to help a great cause--one that affects so many of us--while enjoying (or playing) some fine music.
Each year, the Indy Folk Series holds Open Mic Night on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, with proceeds going to a worthy cause. This year it's Prevent Blindness Indiana (www.pbeye.org). Our theme is "Vision and Insight"; look for heartfelt offerings from an array of established and up-and-coming performers.
Open Mic Night gives both seasoned and rookie musicians a chance to try out new material, stretch their wings or just enjoy a relaxed performance venue on behalf of the cause. We'll have tasty snacks, coffee and wine, as usual. The atmosphere is something special, with checkered tablecloths and candles on the tables. Please tell your friends and plan to join us if you can. Open Mic Night 2007 will be one to remember!
See you then, music lovers!

Enjoy a houseful of local artists pitching into benefit a great cause. The theme is "Vision and Insight"; proceeds support PBI's vision screening, awareness, education and research. Open Mic Nights are something special. Expect a strong turnout of vision advocates and performers.
